Women of Cannabiz Learning Series: Cannabis as Medicine

July 17, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

This versatile plant is used across a range of medicinal and therapeutic applications. Learn more about the endocannabinoid system and different applications for cannabinoids and compounds for a variety of conditions.

We’ll kick off the day with a presentation on the endocannabinoid system,  cannabinoids and compounds. Then we’ll break for a specially prepared lunch at 12:30, created by local professional chef Jillian Austin. Participants are encouraged to explore the property, take a walk, bask in sunshine, get to know people, or anything else you feel like doing!

After our break, we’ll return with an in-depth afternoon session on various medical conditions, bioavailability, methods of cannabis treatment and how cannabinoids and compounds can treat those conditions. At the end of the day the instructors will lead blending tutorials with instructions for how to make a therapeutic roll on and a salve, which you’ll get to take home! We wrap at 4:30 with a mini-networking hour, refreshments and an opportunity to mingle and network.
